"In 2015 we undertook a new cottage build on a property we purchased on Drag Lake.  Chris Miller was recommended to us as THE landscaper to use in Haliburton.  We met with Chris on the property before we even broke ground….we knew that the landscaping was going to be extremely challenging given the slope of our property, the neglected state of the land and our desire to have a ‘natural look’.  We needed the best of the best!

As soon as we met with Chris he started to plan and problem solve - even though it was still 18 months out before he would be starting our contract.  He would call us all the time with great ideas and suggestions.  It was clear to us that he was totally engaged and committed to delivering us a quality project.

Chris checked in with us periodically throughout the build and visited the job site to provide advice and counsel whenever we needed it.  When it came time to actually starting the landscaping work - everything went uber-smoothly. Care and dedication were taken in solving our number one concern (and that of the Building Inspectors) which was drainage. He created drainage areas in many parts of our property that are both aesthetically pleasing and totally functional. One of our favourite areas is a little stone bridge that actually spans a riverbed designed to help water flow from the top of our property down to the lake.

We can’t wait to show all of our friends what an amazing job Chris did for us.  Our property has been completely transformed but still looks very natural. It makes us so happy every time we look up at our property from the water….it is spectacular.
